Sharpton’s Hotel Bills

I could not resist sharing this little detail from a Kathleen Parker column in the Orlando Sentinel:

In 2004, when Sharpton ran for president, he ran up the highest average hotel bills of any candidate, with an average stay at the Four Seasons running at a whopping $3,598, according to Fundrace.org, a Web site that tracked campaign expenditures.

Say what you want about Sharpton, the man’s got style. He definitely has the most pimpin’ outfits of any national profile politician.

Didn’t he give up track suits well before the campaign, along with losing a hundred pounds or so?
